This was one of the major ship ports of the Roman Empire, and since it's fall the sea port has done nothing but succumb to the elements, as well to the claim of the meridianus colony. Because the dock was mostly made of stone, the ocean has eroded away some of it's support and parts of the port have collapsed. But the fallen parts of the dock have made natural stairs to the sea below, which allow the cats of the meridianus colony fish on the small marine life below.
